USA's popular crime drama "Queen of the South" follows a woman's journey as she becomes the leader of a Mexican drug cartel. The show's design direction for the final season focused on updating the floral aesthetic from previous seasons that were unique to the Queen franchise.
We simplified and improved the illustrations to create a cleaner and more contemporary look. Using pink floral elements against a black background and a combination of gothic and bold san serif fonts, we aimed to convey a sense of a strong female in power.
